Zinfandel Grille-Gold River—slotted into a somewhat secluded business park—caters to a dominant lunch crowd on weekday afternoons. But the restaurant—whose counterpart is in Folsom—has been steadily increasing its dinner crowd to locals who want to stay in the area when dining out after work. It offers a weekday happy hour, early-bird specials and jazz nights. The menu at this contemporary-styled California and Mediterranean restaurant brings together seasonal meats and produce to create dishes such as rack of lamb topped with a mint apricot relish, grilled salmon served over spinach ricotta gnocchi and beet salad or the Asian-infused Napa salad that arrives with chicken, carrots and a miso vinaigrette. A variety of culinary styles with pizza, burgers, soups, salads and sandwiches—it will make the finickiest of eaters gastronomically content. " serivce was quick, soughdour bread nicely sour and really fresh and fluffy, lemonade lemony, entrees served quickly and tasty; mine, the Asian chicken salad, was filled with an tasty blend of thinly sliced carrots and red onion and romaine lettuce, and nicely small bits of grilled chicken. Coffee hot and full-bodied flavor.
We were able to get a valued client in and out quickly, and the service was quiet and smooth ernough to enable us to cover business while eating. "
