" I'm a foodie and I am making my kids foodies. We dine out once a week to keep up on the local restaurants. We had a excellent Piatti experience and we now make it our Friday treat.
The kids menu is the best in Sac. hands down. If you are tired of the corn dog, frozen pizza and nuggets then Piatti is for you. The kids menu has real pizza cooked in a wood burning stone oven which they will beg for after they've had it onece. They offer Salmon or Chicken Breast with mashed potatoes and of course spagetti & delectable meatballs. And everything is homemade! I made sure and asked the chef!
As for us well; I started with the carpacio and went on to the homemade signature dish of ravioli with a lemon gremelota (you will want to lick the plate) I then had a Pronti salad that was a fantastic meal with procusitto, chickpeas, mozzarella, artichokes, roasted red pepper ohhh it was so delicious.
The kids receive a scoop of gelato that they want to lick the bowl, and I had my fix of tiramisu with a cappucino. We sit inside in a booth where the level is just high enough if the kids get a pinch loud, and when they can't control their little bodies we have our dessert outside on the terrace and they can run around! I love Piatti and mother to mother I think you will! "

" Remember the days when you went to happy hour and the food was free and the drinks were flowing at great prices? Well gone are the days of free! However, I was told to go to Piatti for Happy Hour and I would be pleased. Pleased, is an understatement--All of the Appetizers (Calamari, Caprese, Carpaccio, Baby Back Ribs, Meatballs, Lemon Ravioli, Pancetta Shrimp & Pizza) Hold on to your seat... They are all $5. That's right 5 dollars for mouth watering calamari, 5 dollars for a delicious pizza, 5 dollars for finger lickin baby back ribs. Then you can wash it all down with some of their awesome drink specials. Paige the bartender will lend an ear to your day and make you smile and laugh with in moments of sitting at the bar. I went at 3:30 on a Tuesday and it wasn't that busy and we sat in a booth in the bar. I'll be going back tonight for the phenomenal deals! "

" If you like heirloom tomatoes you must go to Piatti's in Roseville. They have a exstensive menu for the heirloom lovers. I tried a special today-- smoked salmon with goat cheese, argula and cherry tomatoes all on a pizza cooked in a wood oven. My friend had the Caprese with heirloom tomatoes, mozzarella, olive oil, basil and sea salt -- My mouth is watering again.. I need to go back and try the heirloom tomato elixir with vodka and calabrian chili. I'll see you at Piatti! "
