" We went for weekend brunch. The ambiance is upscale and nice. We ordered a poached egg dish recommended by the waitress, the creme brulee french toast, seasonal fruit, and orange juice. The food was nothing to write home about. The french toast was sweet and syrupy as expected but not particularly good. The egg dish was completely lacking in substance. The fruit was simply melon slices (which were already included with the egg dish) and grapes that looked like they needed to be washed. The orange juice tasted as if it was from concentrate (though this seems hard to believe). We left hungry with a $50 bill. This was a classic case of style over substance. The chef needs to get back to basics. "

" I agree with all the comments regarding the food, wine and ambiance being excellent. However, I think what I like the most (and my wife and I go there a lot) are the people. Marquez and his wife are the owners and the ones that greet you initially. They are warm and engaging - you feel like you are in their home as a welcome guest. Chris, the bartender, is great, mixes really good drinks, is a good listener and remembers everyone's name. "

" My hubby and I went here for dinner before the theatre and the food was delicious. It was presented beautifully and tasted wonderful. Just the right amount to fill you up, but not too much to make you uncomfortable. The price was reasonable and the outdoor dining was great. Will definitely go again. " A Bit on the unwarranted pretentious side! Remember, price doesn’t determine the value of the wine. If you know your taste preferences, you don't need to succumb to the ulterior interests of someone else telling you what a ‘good wine.’ is The food was nice, I have to say I am getting tired of restaurants that portray themselves as a 'cut above,' but nevertheless sell burgers, as well as the ever present 'must have...' calamari. Ambiance was GREAT! "

" My boyfriend and I went here for Valentine's Day, and it was the perfect place to spend the romantic holiday. Good service, knowledge bar staff, and an extensive wine list. " Wine aficionados, this is your place. The wine guy is really knowledgeable and happy to tell you all about the selection. For me, the education is a big part of the charm! The food menu is so ambitious and full of local, seasonal delights. Loved the lentils with duck confit. Don't go here if you want to be stuffed to the gills - for that you want Claim Jumper. At L you will find elegance, fresh food, great wine and overall, a beautifully run restaurant. Great date place, or for get togethers with a group of people who appreciate fine wine and fine food. I have been many times and have yet to find anything disappointing about the place. LOVE it. "

They have a seasonal menu, and use fresh locally grown produce. \r\nThey have valet parking as well, so it's perfect if you don't want to worry about running back to your car and adding more coins to the parking meter.
