Giovanni's Old World New York Pizzeria specializes in thin-crust pizza that's large, cheesy and greasy, just as pizza should be. The Giovanni's on Folsom Boulevard—sibling of the Land Park original and newbie in Natomas——is a spacious and casual pizzeria where you can kick back with a pitcher of beer, watch a baseball game or play video games—circa-1987. Its pizza pie best sellers include cheese, pepperoni and the combination pizza called "Bronx Bomber" (seven-toppings including salami, bacon, mushroom and roasted red peppers). Pair any one these with a mixed green salad and a decanter of red wine and you’ve got dinner plans. Giovanni's has a great family atmosphere that has a little bit of something for kids and adults. " I am from New York City, and have been looking for a New York style pizza. I have tried other pizza places that claim they serve New York style pizza but Giovanni's is the real deal. Transplanted New Yorkers that are craving a slice, run to Giovanni's. "

" I am born in Brooklyn N.Y. and let me tell ya, this is the best pizza that I have ever tasted! There are thousands of good pizza joints in Brooklyn, but Giovanni's pays atention to the quality and they also stick to tradition. It starts with their crust crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Then comes the sauce, fresh sweet tomatoes with the perfect balance of tanginess. Topped off with top notch mozzerella cheese and extra virgin olive oil, there is no beating it. "
