At 2 a.m., as most bar-hoppers are being shooed out of nightclubs, the crowd in Midtown’s Bistro 33 multiplies with hungry people looking for eats. The über-stylish and trendy restaurant—on the edge of downtown— is the only place in the area that has an upscale menu until 3 a.m. on the weekends. Bistro 33’s small plate menu has crisscross fries, turkey mini burgers, scotch-flamed rock shrimp (penne pasta, cream and dill), skirt steak and street tacos (grilled steak, salsa, cream and queso fresco). Try the Oregon bleu cheese salad (romaine, walnuts, spicy buffalo chicken, bleu cheese dressing) and one of its grilled panini sandwiches such as the Puget Sound (crab, shrimp, cheddar cheese and sourdough bread.) The bar/restaurant is stylishly decorated and has a sleek–looking staff who are just as fashion forward as the bar itself.
