This neighborhood bistro is a consistent local favorite not only for its food, but its good energy and jazzy décor of purple colored accents, brick walls and comfy dining room. 33 Street Bistro offers a daily breakfast with hazelnut waffles, berry griddlecakes and a variety of egg dishes. For lunch and dinner, start with a crispy artichoke appetizer, a small plate size of its signature Bistro potpie and a garden salad made with field greens, currants and hazelnuts. There are wood fired pizzas, such as kung pau shrimp and wild mushrooms and panini’s made with pork loin to turkey with apples. Large plates include, Angus rib eye, roasted chicken with sage and a meatloaf dish made with ground lamb. You get a nice blend of classic and unconventional rolled into one enviable neighborhood eatery. If the weather is good, take a seat in the outdoor patio—the drivers passing by will be envious.Cindy Arora

" 33rd Street Bistro is always excellent. The patio is great and I've never order something I didn't absolutely enjoy. Definetly one of my favorite restaurants in Sacramento. Try the lamb and sausage meatloaf, it is just amazing! "
