\n After t he closure of Tower Records in 2006\, founder Russ Solomon donated over 20 0 boxes of historic Tower materials to the Center for Sacramento History\, the official archival repository for the City and County of Sacramento. F rom November 2012 through February 2013\, a small sampling of the &ldquo\; Tower Records Collection&rdquo\; will be displayed at City Hall&rsquo\;s R obert Matsui Gallery. The exhibition reviews the cultural significance of a small record store from Sacramento that grew into nearly 200 stores arou nd the globe.
