 untry Day School </p>\n	<p>\n		Event Combines Holiday Craft Making and Art
 isan Show </p>\n	<p>\n		Children love all the festivities surrounding the 
 holiday season. They love the presents\, the carols\, and the yummy foods\
 , but they also want to be in on the gift giving. Each year\, parents sear
 ch for ways to celebrate the holidays with meaning while accomplishing all
  the “to-­‐dos” the season entails. </p>\n	<p>\n		On Saturday\, December 1
 \, 2012\, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.\, the Sacramento Country Day School Paren
 ts’ Association will hold a Handmade Holiday Faire at the Country Day Scho
 ol gymnasium that will combine imaginative kid crafts with artisan holiday
  shopping for grown ups. </p>\n	<p>\n		The event will feature over 15 craf
 ts for kids to make\, including cupcake ornaments\, custom cookie makings\
 , vintage paper holiday trees\, superhero candy pops\, tile trivets\, and 
 custom leather bookmarks. Featured artisans include painters\, watercolori
 sts\, photographers\, altered-­‐art jewelers\, beaded jewelers\, handbag d
 esigners\, sculptors\, and more. A raffle featuring artisan-­‐donated item
 s is also slated. Food and beverages are available for sale at the Candy C
 orn Café\, making it a perfect indoor destination on a winter day. </p>\n	
 <p>\n		This year\, the event features craft tables to raise funds for Coun
 try Day’s sister school in Rwanda\, the Rulindo School\, and Breakthrough 
 Sacramento.<br />\n		Breakthrough Sacramento is a public-­‐private partner
 ship providing year-­‐round\, tuition-­‐free\, college preparatory program
  for academically motivated students from under-­‐resourced schools in the
  Sacramento-­‐area. Breakthrough is headquartered at Country Day School an
 d is an integral part of the Country Day community. </p>\n	<p>\n		The Hand
