The Sacramento Downtown Partnership is having a fundrai ser to benefit Angels for Hearts a local non profit\, all proceeds from Ic e Rink Admissions and Skate Rentals from 6-8pm on Friday Nov 30th will go to Angels for Hearts\, a 501(C)(3) Tax Exempt Organization. Angels for Hea rts mission is to bring normalcy to the pediatric heart patient while they are in the hospital and during their recovery.
\n\n Angels for Hear ts during the Christmas holiday season helps Santa to make sure that all p ediatric heart patients wake up on Christmas morning to find a gift left f rom Santa. Angels for Hearts works specifically with the local hospitals i n our region (Sutter Children's Center Sacramento\, in Sacramento CA\, UC Davis Children's Hospital\, in Sacramento CA and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital\, in Stanford CA). Proceeds from this event at the Ice Rink will help Angels for Hearts to help make sure that Pediatric Heart patients ge t to wake up on Christmas morning even though they are in the hospital and share in the simple joy of being a child knowing that Santa did indeed fi nd them even in the hospital. Due to hospitals rules and regulations for s afety Angels for Hearts does NOT accept donations of gifts/toys we only ac cept financial donations. Fundraisers like this one at the Ice Rink are cr ucial for us so that we can purchase the items for the hospitals that the pediatric heart patients wish for from Santa.
\n\n The Ice Rink is a public event so this fundraiser is open to the public. Please invite your friends\, family\, and school friends and come down and enjoy a night und er the stars on the ice rink. Come join us on the ice\, skate\, fall down\ , get up and skate again.
