Twenty-two years ago, Joyce Flynn died after drowning in a Sacramento pool following a relay race. Her heart stopped for 20 minutes and she suffered major brain trauma from a lack of oxygen. Flynn is now 57 years old, with an advanced degree and a new book that tells her story and others like it. You'll hear how she recovered and why she decided to pursue her new career.
