TrueStory: Remembering 1963 & Civil Rights

 

TrueStory is Sacramento's first nonfiction reading series and open mic, where real people read real stories live. In partnership with Under the Gum Tree magazine, the series will launch at the Crocker Art Museum with an evening of personal narratives. Writers will share their memories, experiences and interpretations of this remarkable time in American history. $5 for museum members, $8 for nonmembers.
