The Young Americans

The Young Americans International Music Outreach Tour is coming to Sacramento Feb 7-9 for a three-day performance workshop at Town and Country Lutheran School. This song and dance company, consisting of forty-five 16- to 23-year olds will teach singing, dancing and performance to local students. On Feb.9 the entire company will perform a 2-act show, with the Young Americans performing the first act and all local students joining them for Act II. In three days the students will receive classes in voice, dance, acting/improve and musical theatre as well as performance sound & audition techniques. The workshop is open to all area students in grades K through 12. The cost is $57 for all three days and includes a T-shirt. Show time is at 7:00 p.m. on Feb. 9. Town and Country is proud to have an alumni of theYoung Americans Organization on our teaching staff.
