Deladier Almeida returned to Tuscany for a second time to paint the landscape, from Rome to Florence, for a solo show of Italian landscape paintings at the Knowlton Gallery in May. Almeida is well known for his aerial landscape paintings of the Sacramento Delta region, as well as his large figurative paintings of tourists in European museums. For his upcoming exhibition, THE CULTIVATED LANDSCAPE: A Tuscan Travelogue, Almeida is looking forward to new challenges. |
