Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and IADT Survivor T-shirt Fashion Show

The International Academy of Design & Technology (IADT) - Sacramento will have a fashion show of student created designs from Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Survivor and RaceT-shirts plus jewelry designs made from recycled educational materials such as rubber bracelets and key chains.

The public will be able to bid on all items at both shows with proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation  to coincide with the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

 “I am so very proud of our students and the work they produce,” said Kathy Kerr-Carpenter, Program Chair for Fashion Design and Merchandising at IADT-Sacramento. “They truly are the future of design. Their work inspires me, as well as their efforts to grow, learn and change their lives and the lives of others through education and service.”

The community is invited to attend these special events to personally meet the designers and see their exceptional work.
