SMUD Exhibition Features Artwork By 13 Sacramento Area Artists Exploring Belief Systems

Beliefs, opens at the SMUD Art Gallery, 6301 S Street, Sacramento, on Friday, October 25, 2013. The public is invited to meet the artists and view their work at a FREE opening reception on Thursday, October 24, 2013, from 4 to 6 p.m. The exhibition showcases artwork exploring belief systems, the focus of this year’s SMUD Awareness Series Program. The series, sponsored by SMUD’s Office of Inclusion, is designed to expose and educate SMUD employees about the beliefs of their colleagues and the community they serve. A variety of media are featured, including paintings, mixed media, ceramic and digital painting, by Sacramento area artists: YoHana Bat Adam, Brenda Boles, Annmarie Campbell, Crystal Haueter Close, Laurelin Gilmore, Kimberly Godinho, GOS, Lawrence Klimecki, Kanika Marshall, Tonia Colleen Martin, Mehran Mesbah, Shi Mo, and Vinay Sharma.
