Event Date/Time

Nov 3, 2013
6:30 am until 11:30 am

Description

Family Fun! Run Because You Can 5K/10K

Please join us for "Run Because You Can"- a 5K/10K Run or Walk and Kids' Fun Run presented by local non-profit, Runnin' for Rhett. It will be a morning filled with inspiration and smiles; an opportunity to accomplish goals; a day that encourages you to get up off the couch and get moving into life; and lastly a fundraiser for our continued efforts to promote fitness among our community's children.

This year-the Youth Fitness Program participants will be starting at the same time as the rest of the racers...BUT, they will be corralled in a special area.  This will allow the youth to experience the excitement of the start line while allowing the adult racers their own space.  We will also have a designated Youth Fitness Program finishing chute.

Register by Friday, 10/18 to guarantee receiving a race shirt.  Tech shirts available for an additional $6.

Sunday, November 3, 2013   Start times:

8:00 AM- Kids' Fun Runs (1/2 and 1/4 mile; ages 11 and under)

8:40 AM - 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run/Walk- Youth Fitness Start
