ELK GROVE QUILT GUILD HARVEST OF QUILTS SHOW

The Elk Grove Quilt Guild “Harvest of Quilts” promises beautiful quilts, wearable art, home decor items,vendor booths, door prizes, and raffle baskets.  A café will provide snacks and lunch items. The winning ticket for our Opportunity Quilt, “Pickle Pizzazz”, will be drawn September 15 at 3 pm.  Featured Quilter will be Linda Bergman.

The Elk Grove Quilt Guild is dedicated to preserving the heritage of quilting, enhancing the education and skill levels of its members, and contributing to the welfare of the community.  The Guild members donate quilts to the Ronald McDonald House, Elk Grove Windsor Care Center, Sutter Hospital Child Life Program, Kaiser South Oncology Department, St. John’s Homeless Shelter, Natomas School District Parenting Program, Shriner’s Hospital, and Sacramento Crisis Nursery.

Local hair salons put their talents on display during the third annual Hair Wars Saturday, April 24 2015 at the Morgan Creek Golf Club in Roseville. Proceeds from the event benefited HartSong, a rescue program that provides care for special needs animals.
