Aerojet Wounded Veteran Run

Event Date/Time

May 27, 2013
8:00 am until 11:00 am

Description

The annual Aerojet Wounded Veteran Run is an important regional fundraiser that benefits local injured veterans through the national Wounded Warrior Project and the Fallen Warriors Memorial Organization.

The Wounded Veteran Run, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, was founded in 2011 by local college student Courtney Hvostal in honor of her brother who was severely injured in Afghanistan.

This year’s 3K/5K/10K run/walk event, to be held at the Folsom Parkway Trails, Folsom, Calif., features a professionally-certified race course and a new fun run for kids.  Early registration is highly recommended as a record turnout is expected and a registration cap is anticipated.

Family, school and corporate group participation in the run/walk is encouraged as a meaningful way to support and thank our service men and women over Memorial Day weekend!  For more information or to register, visit www.woundedveteranrun.org.  Fees are 3K: $25; 5K and 10K: $30; and Children 11 and under (any event): $15.

Cost $15-$30
