118th Miners Picnic

118th Miners Picnic - tons of fun for EVERYone!

Relive the days of gold, grit and glory at this popular, family event.  Bring chairs and blankets and picnic lunch, and relax on the glorious grounds.  Food and beverages from local vendors also available for purchase.  Enjoy Living History at Bourn Cottage and in the old Mine Yard.  With gold panning, wild-west donkeys, an old-fashioned cake walk, live music - and the 'Search for the Gold' Challenge, it's an unusual turn-of-the-century experience.  There's even a dramatic mine-rescue re-enactment at high noon.  Will hep arrive in time to save the injured miner?  Bring your cameras to photograph the exciting answer.

Cost $7 (age 17+), $3 (age 6-16) under 6 FREE
