B&L Blood-Orange Martini made by Dan Mitchell, the bartender at Mulvaneyâs Building & Loan
Gabriel Teague
1 1/2 ounces Ketel One vodka
1/4 ounce triple sec
1/4 ounce simple syrup (1 cup sugar dissolved in 1/2 cup boiling water, then cooled)
Juice of 1 lime
Juice of 1/2 blood orange
Blood orange slices for garnish
Pour vodka, triple sec, simple syrup and juices into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake for 15 seconds, then strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a slice of blood orange. Serves 1.
