2010 Best of Sacramento Winner - Best Place for a Man Date

Convivial and relaxed, Streets of London Pub is one of midtown’s most popular social gathering spots. The draught beer flows freely in this boisterous pub, which also serves up some pretty robust and brew-friendly fare. Leave the calorie counter at home—you won’t want to refer to it when ordering the kitchen’s delicious fish and chips; steak and mushroom pie, and enormous (and I mean enormous) Big Ben Burger. Other customer faves include the nurturing, mashed potato-topped Shepherd’s Pie and the—no kidding—deep fried pickles, great with a pint of ale. Streets of London offers both a front and back patio, often thronged with revelers on balmy evenings; a spacious dining room with pretty round wood tables, rustic brick walls and several dartboards. Order your food from the bartender, and eventually (depending on how busy the place is) it will be brought out to you. This is a great place to stop for a pint or two with friends after a long day of work. – Kira O'Donnell
