A luxurious, somber Tuscan interior is curiously incongruent with the menu here, which features a playful mélange of New American, tropical and Asian-inspired dishes (with a few Italian items thrown in for good measure). The happy customers don’t seem to mind. Warm, dust-brown walls, stately columns and high ceilings with exposed wooden beams create the sense that you’re in a stately Renaissance mansion, while the outdoor dining area is more casual and low key. Standout dishes include mahi-mahi tacos and something called “loose” ravioli: a plate-size, freeform raviolo stuffed with braised short rib sauce.
