Consistently voted “best sushi restaurant” by SacMag readers, the hip sushi bar in the East End Lofts building serves its sushi with a side of sass. Music blares loudly while servers dressed in black zigzag through the sprawling, industrial-style restaurant. There are three sushi bars and a dense menu of appetizers, rice bowls, bento boxes and quirkily named sushi rolls such as Train Wreck (shrimp tempura, spicy avocado mix, crab mix, chopped unagi) and Incredible (spicy tuna, fried shrimp, avocado, tuna, spicy tuna, spicy mayo). While you’re waiting for a table (and believe us, you will wait), order one of the tasty cocktails.
