A welcoming touchstone of comfort, the cafe is situated in a little slate-blue building that was a gold panners’ bunkhouse more than 100 years ago. Order the blintzes, stuffed with a dreamy, cheesy filling and blobbed with sweetened sour cream and strawberry preserves. The omelets are a sure bet, as are the homey oatmeal pancakes topped with warm blueberries. There’s also a wonderful array of sandwiches and salads, but come for the breakfast.
