Celebrate the stunning summer weather—before the heat sets in—at the Sacramento Valley Symphonic Band Association’s annual Carmichael Park Community Band Festival on May 30 and June 1 at the Carmichael Park Amphitheater.
A collection of community bands (including the Sacramento Symphonic Winds) from across California will serenade you as you sit in the shade (bring a picnic and lawn chairs for ultimate comfort) and enjoy one of the largest community band festivals in the state for over 20 years. Music will be played from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 30 and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 1. Admission and parking are free—talk about fun in the sun!
