It has been said countless times that you should never judge someone until you have walked a mile in his or her shoes. With that in mind, men can never truly understand the perils that women suffer in the name of fashion by wearing high heels . . . until now. On April 28, Capitol Mall will be taken over by 500 men completing a one-mile course, all wearing high heels.
Walk a Mile in Her Shoes is not just an entertaining spectacle, but a great event being held by WEAVE. The organization hopes to raise money and awareness to stop rape, sexual assault and gender violence.
So, ladies, come watch business leaders, elected officials, students and many more men strut (or stumble) their stuff in high heels. Gentlemen, there is still time to register to walk.
