Film buffs, be sure to check out the Sacramento Jewish Film Festival, taking place this weekend at the Crest Theatre in Sacramento. Now in its 12th year, the festival shows four feature films chosen to “represent the diversity of the Jewish Culture.”
 
The festival kicks off Saturday, March 10 with Holy Land Hardball at 7 p.m., followed by This Is Sodom at 9 p.m. The festival resumes Sunday at 1 p.m. with Ahead of Time: The Ruth Gruber Story followed by Inside Hana’s Suitcase at 3:15 p.m. There will be coffee and dessert served in the lobby in between films both days.
 
Individual tickets are $10.50 per movie, with discounts for seniors, students and large groups. Day and all-festival passes also are available.
 
The Crest Theatre is located at 1013 K St. in Sacramento.
