Any event that can combine fashion and charity sounds like a great time in our book. The International Academy of Design & Technology has planned just that. The IADT is hosting a fashion show of student-created designs from previous Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Survivor and Race T-Shirts.
People have two opportunities to attend. The show will occur on May 5 near Nordstrom at Arden Fair, and on May 12 at Cal Expo.
The event highlights sustainability by reusing old materials. At each event, the public can bid on all items. Proceeds go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The community is invited to attend these special events and to personally meet the designers. For more information, click here.
