Did you know that this year marks the 63rd annual Fiesta Days? I had no idea. The fun, two-day event takes place this Saturday and Sunday, May 5 and 6 in old town Fair Oaks (10224 Fair Oaks Blvd.—off Sunrise Boulevard and Winding Way). The event runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. Don’t miss the parade through Fair Oaks Village; it starts at 10 a.m. Then enjoy two days full of games, exhibitors and plenty of food. There even will be a children’s carnival. Other highlights include the Toilet Bowl race Saturday afternoon, the Sun Run Sunday morning and a car show Sunday afternoon.

Don’t know where to park? The event organizers have that covered. Park over at Scandinavian Designs on Winding Way and Sunrise Boulevard and take the shuttle. The shuttle runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, but take note, it runs from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.
