Calling all amateur filmmakers (and beer lovers): Submit your film for possible inclusion into this year’s “Clips of Faith,” a show that will travel on an 18-city tour combining beer tasting, movie watching and fundraising.
What are the Clips of Faith folks looking for in a film? Well, it needs to be short—seven minutes or less. It needs to be clean. Filmmakers need to be at least 21 years of age, and they need to secure rights for all elements included in the film. The film can be about anything, but check out the Clips of Faith website to get an idea of what has resonated well in the past.
If you win, you’ll enjoy a bevy of prizes. Then, later this summer, you, your friends and a ton of soon-to-be friends will gather in Davis (Friday, Aug. 10, to be exact) to enjoy some flicks, some New Belgium beer and some mid-summer fun. Proceeds from the beer sales at the event go to support a local nonprofit.
So, get creative and get cracking. Film submissions are due April 16.
