22nd Annual Left Coast Crime Convention

Posted on March 21

Do you enjoy reading mystery novels? Do you write mystery novels? If so, see if you can carve out some time March 29–April 1 for the 22nd Annual Left Coast Crime Convention, an annual conference for readers, writers and all-around fans of the genre. The theme of this year’s conference is “Mining for Murder” and it will celebrate Sacramento’s role in California’s Gold Rush.

Guests include New York Times bestselling authors John Lescroart, Jacqueline Winspear and James Rollins. The event includes panel discussions, an awards banquet—held Saturday night to recognize outstanding books and authors—live and silent auctions, and an onsite bookstore filled with current and hard-to-find editions of mystery and thriller books.

The whole shebang costs $225, but if you just want to attend the Friday and Saturday panels, it will set you back $75 per day.
