On Saturday, Sept. 11, photographer Kyana Taillon will spend the day at Heritage Plaza in downtown Woodland offering a free portrait to anyone who shows up dressed in clothing from the 1850s through the 1980s. People can pick up their photos on Friday, Oct. 1 at the grand opening of Taillon’s Woodland studio, where the prints will also be on display.
 
What: Vintage fashion portraits by Kyana Taillon
When: Sept. 11 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Heritage Plaza, Main and Second streets, next to the Woodland Opera House
Why: The project is a promotion for a vintage fashion show benefiting Woodland’s Stroll Through History, which starts at 4 p.m.
