Enjoying McKinley Park

Posted on May 30

Now that the weather is finally gorgeous, why not take the opportunity to soak it up by taking a stroll over to—and around—McKinley Park? Right on the edge of East Sac at Alhambra and H, you can walk your pup or take a jog around the track; you can stroll through the 1.5-acre rose garden; the kids can feed bread bits to the ducks or frolic on the playground; and you can spread a big blanket out, lie down and enjoy a picnic (and some rays of sunshine). There are also tennis courts to enjoy, a public pool (though it’s not quite warm enough yet) and many locals meet up for various games and exercises—why not start your own group?
