Take a Coffee Tour

Posted on March 23

Ever been curious about the origin of that cup of Joe you so covet in the morning? Take a tour of the Rogers Family Company coffee roasting plant in Lincoln this Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. The tour includes information about the company’s Community Aid program as well as explanation of the roasting/packaging process. Oh, and yes, coffee samples will be provided. Attendees are asked to wear long pants, sleeves and sturdy closed-toe shoes; hair nets and, if applicable, beard nets, will be provided. To sign up for the tour, call (916) 258-8000. Can’t make the tour this Friday? Don’t worry, tours are offered the last Friday of every month. The roasting plant is located at 1731 Aviation Blvd.
