Shakespeare in the West Sacramento Park

Posted on June 24

It’s a relief to know that in this age of over-the-top special effects, there’s still plenty of entertainment value to be found in modest productions that rely on competent acting and the beauty of the spoken word. That’s what you’ll get if you go to West Sacramento Community Theater’s production of Twelfth Night. In this rendition of the Shakespeare comedy, costumes are so simple as to be street clothes, and the sole source of lighting is the sun. You won’t find frills here, just an evening awash in mirth.
