Enjoy food, music and more at the Sacramento Pride Festival, marking its 24th year Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. along Capitol Mall between 3rd and 7th streets. Hundreds of vendors, a beer garden and a kid’s zone are just a few of the attractions you’ll find at the festival, which celebrates gay and lesbian pride. The parade—always a crowd favorite—takes off at 10 a.m. sharp from 7th and T streets and will travel to the mall. On hand as grand marshal will be John Perez, speaker of the California State Assembly. The festival’s $10 admission supports the Sacramento Gay & Lesbian Center.
