Most every Wednesday, singers compete “American Idol” style at Rhythms on the River, held at Pearl on the River from 7 to 9 p.m., with the finals beginning in August. The winner will be awarded a contract with Gigatone Entertainment to record four songs at The Track Shack studio and the opportunity to perform at this year’s Sacramento magazine Best of Sacramento Party.
