Give Something, Get Something

Posted on January 22

Save some money and help a cause. It doesn’t get much better than that. Bring a donation of cat or dog food, toys, collars, etc. to the Old Navy in Natomas (3581 N. Freeway Blvd.) this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 22–24, and you’ll receive 10 percent off your entire purchase. Volunteers from Happy Tails—an all-volunteer, no-kill animal rescue organization dedicated to finding safe, loving, permanent homes for Sacramento’s homeless cats and dogs—will be on hand from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday showcasing some of their dogs that are up for adoption. No adoptions are done on-site, but if you see a pooch that you like, Happy Tails will gladly set up an in-home visit.
