Mardi Gras, Old Sac Style

Break out the beads and masks, it’s Mardi Gras time! Celebrate with a self-guided pub crawl through your favorite Old Sac restaurants and bars with the Mardi Gras Pub 'n' Grub Crawl on Saturday, Feb. 20, starting at 4 p.m. Here’s what’s happening:

•Café New Orleans – First 150 guests get in free. Live music by Black Cat Bone.
•Delta King – No cover. Live music by Harley White Jr. Orchestra.
•Fanny Ann's – No cover. Live music outside and a DJ at 9 p.m.
•Fat City Bar and Café – No cover. Live music by In the No.
•Joe's Crab Shack – No cover. Check out a Mardi Gras marching band outside.
•Laughs Unlimited – No cover. Music by Road Test from 4 to 8 p.m.
•Necropolis - $5 cover starting at 10 p.m. Live music by Agness Twin and Early and Often.
•O'Mallys - $5 cover starting at 9 p.m. Music by Chris 2me.
•Rio City Cafe – No cover. Music by Gwen McMillan and Autumn Sky.
•River City Saloon – No cover. Music by Western Lights.

If you’re a history buff, you can take an official speakeasy tour through Sacramento’s below-ground watering holes for $10.
