Don your best red dress and head out to Badlands this Saturday, Oct. 6 for Sacramento’s first Red Dress Party.

What can you expect at the Sacramento Red Dress Party? Well, it’s at a dance club, so expect dancing. San Francisco-based DJs DJ Grind and DJ Lee Decker will be leading the party. Also on hand will be live drag and character performers. And that brings up an important point: Everybody is encouraged to wear a red dress: women and men; don’t matter your age, don’t matter your gender and don’t matter your sexual orientation. Just wear a red dress and have fun!

The party starts at 8 p.m. and goes until 2 a.m. Tickets to the event are $40 for general admission and $60 if you want to go VIP, which gets you express entry into the event, two complimentary drinks, a VIP gift bag and more. The Sacramento Red Dress Party benefits the Sacramento Gay & Lesbian Center, which will use the money for HIV/AIDS prevention, education and care.

What: Sacramento Red Dress Party
When: Saturday, Oct. 6 from 8 p.m.–2 a.m.
