Running Dead: 5k Zombie Mud Run

Posted on October 18

Prepare to run for your life! Running Dead is a 5k mud run where you aren’t just competing with other runners to beat the clock, you are running from blood-thirsty zombies.

Running Dead consists of the usual military-style training obstacles and mud pits that participants must negotiate. However, this time around, runners will have football flags attached to their waists while attempting to steer clear of attacking zombies. If you make it to the “Center for Disease Control” with at least one of your flags still attached, you will have successfully survived the zombie apocalypse. For more information, click here.

What: Running Dead 5k Zombie Mud Run
When: Oct. 20 from 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
Where: Gibson Ranch Regional Park
Cost: $75
