Ever wanted to visit Italy? Now you can experience the country without leaving Sacramento! How? By attending this weekend’s Festa Italiana—a two-day festival filled with food, music and Italian fun. Considered the largest Italian celebration in our area, Festa Italiana typically shows 3,500 people a great time, and includes authentic foods, beer, wine, other beverages and desserts. It even has live Italian entertainment! And there’s more—an extensive marketplace, Italian car show, salami toss, kids' games and bocce ball. You can even win a trip to Italy! But you can’t do all this if you don’t show up—the event is at the Croatian American Cultural Center, 3730 Auburn Blvd., and costs $10 per person. Children 15 and under are free, as is parking. Hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
