BEST OF SACRAMENTO     GOODIE BAG      MASTERS CLUB MEMBERS     NEWSLETTERS     WEDDINGS     RESTAURANTS     WINE

Ever heard of a fashion swap party? They’re the newest trend nationwide in eco-friendly fashion buying, and they’re here in Sacramento, too. So how does it work? Raid your closet for clothes, jewelry, shoes, accessories—even unopened makeup—that you don’t wear or use anymore. Then, take them to JB’s Lounge inside the Red Lion Hotel at 1401 Arden Way at 7 o’ clock tonight. You pay $20, and you can swap items with other attendees. It’s like getting a whole new wardrobe for 20 bucks!

Once you pay your $20 charge and hand over some of your clean, non-damaged “fashionable and fabulous” items, you also can pick up as many pieces as fit in the provided large “green bags.” And it’s not just other people’s clothes and accessories that are up for grabs—local and national designers also hand out their “sample” clothing.
And that’s not all! After the fashion swap, rock and funk band Red Velvet Kiss performs. For more information, call (916) 821-3708.
