Barbecue Cook-Off

El Dorado County Habitat for Humanity is holding its first barbecued rib cook-off. Taste ribs from all the competitors, along with side dishes. Mosey up to the saloon, ride a mechanical bull, and listen to music from local country band Crossman Connection.

What: Ho'Down For Habitat
When: Saturday, Aug. 21 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Where: Burkes Junction, 3300 Coach Lane, Cameron Park
Tickets: $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Tickets may be purchased here.
