Bike Swap in the Park

Posted on April 8

Need a bike? Need to get rid of one? Now’s your chance! This Saturday, April 10, the Sacramento Bicycle Kitchen and the Friends of Fremont Park are holding the very first Bicycle Swap Meet. The festivities begin this Saturday at 9 a.m., so head downtown—the park is bordered by 15th, 16th, P and Q streets. The swap ends at 2 p.m., so go find a great deal on used bikes, parts and clothing from other bike riders and enthusiasts. Admission to buy is free; if you want to sell, you can reserve a 10-foot-by-10-foot space for $10. Proceeds will benefit the nonprofit organizations Sac Bike Kitchen and the Friends of Fremont Park.
