Tropics on a Budget: Mikuni’s Key Lime Moto

Posted on July 1

Wishing you were slathered with sun block and baking luxuriously in the tropical sunshine? If finances and hectic work schedules thwart your travel plans, head to midtown’s Mikuni Sushi for the bar’s Key Lime Moto—it’s guaranteed to catapult you directly into vacation mode. This house specialty cocktail is crafted with vanilla vodka, coconut rum and melon liqueur, and enlivened with pineapple and lime juices and a splash of sweet and sour. The pale green refresher, garnished jauntily with a wedge of lime, is packed with tropical, citrusy flavors and jangles your tastebuds awake with its breezy, invigorating personality. Hungry? Pair the drink with Mikuni’s zesty Albacore Pepperfin—Albacore tuna drizzled with citrus soy dressing and dotted with jalapeno peppers and sesame seeds.
