The Cultured & The Cured: East Sac’s New Cheese and Charcuterie Shop

Posted on December 24

Kira O'Donnell

The East Sac food scene just keeps getting better—a new shop called The Cultured & The Cured opened recently on J Street across from Juno’s Kitchen (and next door to Cielito Lindo Mexican Gastronomy), and offers a fabulous array of artisanal cheeses (many from California), cured meats and enticing menu items. Hungry visitors can choose from a roast pork loin sandwich and house-made macaroni and cheese to charcuterie plates (which include pickled vegetables, mustard, olives and crostini). If the selection leaves you feeling a little overwhelmed, ask the knowledgeable (and very enthusiastic) staff for guidance.
