Capay Valley Farm Shop Offering New 'PantryShares' Program

Posted on September 22

I enjoy following the Capay Valley Farm Shop website, which offers a delectable array of local, seasonal foodstuffs to its customers direct from a network of over 30 small family farms. In addition to the produce, meat, eggs and grains available for order, the website is now offering something called “PantryShares,” a subscription service that provides members with “the best local jams, honey, olive oils, balsamic vinegar, nuts and herbs” from participating farms. New members pay up front for a 3-month subscription, and pick up their edible treasures the first full week of each month beginning the week of Oct 6th.

The large share ($250 for three months) might include items such as a Capay Oaks Arbequina extra virgin olive oil, Seka Hills elderberry vinegar, Winter Creek English walnuts, FreeHeart Farm raw almonds, Full Belly Farm popcorn, B-Z Bee wildflower honey and Good Humus apricot jam and herbs de provence. Small shares cost $125 for three months. For more information and to subscribe, visit the PantryShares website
