Miraflores Winery Offering Al Fresco Wine-Food Pairing Luncheons

Attention all wine lovers: If you’re pining for a unique, relaxing day trip this season that focuses on fine cuisine and your favorite beverage, check out Miraflores Winery’s PAIRINGS. Featuring guest chefs from throughout Northern California, these seasonally-inspired four-course lunches are paired with Miraflores wines and are served up on the shady terrace overlooking the estate vineyards of this El Dorado County winery.

Upcoming chefs include Damon Barham of Le Cordon Bleu Technique Restaurant in San Francisco (August 18th and 19th), Gabriel Glasier of Fair Oaks’ Maranello Restaurant (September 1 and 2); and Duncan Holmes of Sons & Daughters Restaurant in San Francisco (September 29 and 30).

Guests have an opportunity to sample some of Miraflores’ award-winning products, including the 2009 Estate Zinfandel (which recently earned 90 points from the Wine Enthusiast and 92 points from Wine Spectator magazine) and the 2009 Tempranillo, which was awarded “Best of Class, Sierra Foothills” at the 2012 California State Fair.

PAIRINGS reservations are available from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays through October 14th.  The prix fixe menu is $30 for Miraflores wine club members and $40 for non-club members.
