Slow Food Swap on Sunday

Posted on August 12

Slow Fooders are always coming up with terrific ways to combine conviviality and delicious food. This Sunday August 14th, Slow Food Sacramento is hosting a food swap at Old Soul on Broadway: participants will trade homemade food products and produce with one another, from baked goods and local eggs to canned items, garden-grown tomatoes and (apparently) anything handcrafted and yummy. The swap begins at 5:30pm and will run until 6:45pm, allowing “plenty of time to trade your chutney and mingle with other local artisans.”

All items should be individually packaged; and participants will need to sign a waiver in order to swap items that were not prepared in a kitchen inspected by the health department. There is a $5 requested donation to cover expenses.
